Novelty Theatre

Constructed inside an existing 1889 red brick building, the Novelty Theatre most likely began its career as a 5c admission nickelodeon. It was operating by 1907. One thing is certain, television put an end to enough ticket sales to keep this tiny cinema in operation.

Please, share with us anything you may know about the old Novelty Theatre.

Nice photos on Website!

To see a fairly present photo of the theater go Google Satellite Map Street Photo and move that Gold Guy down south to Advantage Insurance Group which is accross the street from the theater.

Anyone have more info or more photos?

The Novelty Theatre was in operation by 1909, when it was listed as a business subscriber to the trade union journal The Railroad Trainman.
