News About This Theater

Main Theater

This theater is on the U.S Army Military Post, Fort Hood. This is a really big post with 34,000 people, 6,000 families, with 9 schools for the children. Seems like they would need a theater.

The theater is run by the U.S. Army & Air Force Exchange Services, Reel Time Theaters Circuit which has about 120 theaters around the world. The theater is Building Number 334 and is also used for military meetings and training. Does anyone know who it was named after?

I also found something about a Howze Theater, which I think is on the post and is much larger. Can anyone tell anything about that theater?

ATTENTION U.S. ARMY, MARINE CORPS, NAVY, AIR FORCE, COAST GUARD, VETERANS AND DEPENDENTS, HELP!

This is only number 1 of 135 operating U.S. Army & Air Force Exchange Service, Reel Time Theaters I hope to list on Cinema Treasures. This does not include U.S. Marine Corps, Navy, and Coast Guard Theaters that are operating. Also not included are theaters that are not operating or have been demolished on operating or closed U.S. Military Installations. It must be THOUSANDS OF THEATERS!

PLEASE ADD THEATERS YOU KNOW ABOUT OR ADD COMMENTS OR PHOTOS!

Palmer Theater was named after my great grandfather Brigadier General Bruce Palmer Sr. who servered 44 years in the U.S. Army; World Wars I & II; Distinguished Service Medal; French Legion of Honor with Rosette. Known as “The Father of Armor”
