Located in rural McKenzie, Alabama, the Sundown Drive-In was opened by 1952 when it was operated by Harold Jenkins. The Starview Drive-In was listed in the 1953-1954 edition of Theatre Catalog as being formerly the Sundown Drive-In operated by Fred McLendon who was still the operator in 1955.

There was a drive-in located at the address of N Garland Rd & Scott Rd, McKenzie. This appears in 1956 and 1957 aerial photos but is gone ten years later in 1967. There is nothing left of the drive-in today. Now we need to figure out WHICH of the two McKenzie drive-in’s this one was.
