SilverCity Mission opened on May 19, 2000. Its opening films include Dinosaur, Road Trip, Gladiator, U-571, The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas, Small Time Crooks, and Battlefield Earth.

The name should be changed to SilverCity Mission Cinemas. Also, many of the first-run attractions are also playing at Cineplex Odeon Meadowtown nearby.
