The earliest news reference to the Park Opera House can be found in the Twin Falls Daily News from December 14, 1929. Their story said “The Latter Day Saints Church has leased the Park Opera House for the season. Picture shows and dances will be under their management.”

The Film Daily Yearbook from 1928 listed the seating at 150

Photos of the opera house from the early-1900’s can be found at the Hagerman Valley Historical Society museum. In 2011 The American Legion still occupied the building after many years.

The other show house in town was the Valley/Rex Theatre, which burned partially in 1954 and then without being rebuilt, was completely demolished by fire in 1957.
