The Grand Theatre showed up on fire insurance maps as early as 1908. The building was originally called Auditorium Theatre, but the name changed to Grand Theatre in 1916 when it was also labeled as showing motion pictures. The building was repurposed to a city hall sometime after 1925 and is used as a post office today.
