Located in upscale suburb of Scranton, PA. The Comerford Theatre was opened on March 4, 1948 with Bing Crosby & Bob Hope in “Road to Rio”. On December 25, 1966 it was renamed Cinema North. It was closed in 1977 and converted to offices in the 1980’s.

and reopened as the Cinema North on December 25th, 1966. Another ad posted.

Closed in 1977 when Sportservice Theatres gave up on the Scranton market.
