The North Andrews Drive-In was opened August 26, 1953 with Joel McRea in “The Lone Hand” & Harvey Lembeck in “Girls in the Night” (aka “Life After Dark”). It was operated by Wometco Theatres. The theatre was equipped for CinemaScope presentations on its 90 feet wide screen. This single screen drive-in continued through at least the 1960’s, believed to be demolished in the 1980’s.
