This theatre opened on December 21, 1990 as a second run theatre operated by Cinemark. The theatre features digital presentation, RealD 3D, self service box offices, online ticketing and discount second run attractions.

The Cinemark Movies 10 was closed in late-2015. It was taken over by Regency Theatres and reopened on November 9, 2016 as Cathedral City 10. It was closed on March 17, 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it briefly reopened but closed in May 2022.

This location has always been, and continues to be, a second run theatre, not first run.
