Located in the up-market Jardim Paulista district. The Cine Top was inside the small Top Shopping Center. It opened in May 1976 with Warren Beatty in “Shampoo”. The cinema auditorium was painted blue, and was decorated to resemble an internal garden, with greenery & ferns.
It was still open in 1990, but has subsequently closed and has been taken over by retail space within the shopping centre.
