Broadway Drive-In

The Drive-In opened July 27, 1940 with Melvyn Douglas in “The Amazing Mr. Williams”. In 1955, it was operated by Malco Theatres and was renamed Broadway Drive-In on March 29, 1957. It was closed and demolished in 1965.

AKA Broadway Drive-in Theater.

Now a restaurant supply store in the front and a warehouse in back.

The address for this Drive-in is 3517 E Broadway St, North Little Rock, AR 72114.

This opened as Drive-In movies on July 27th, 1940 and reopened as the Broadway drive-in on March 29th, 1957. It was never listed in the newspapers as “North Little Rock Drive-In” 1940-1957 two grand opening ads in the photo section.

Opened on 27th July 1940 with selected shorts(not named?) and ‘The Amazing Mr Williams".

Looks like the concession stand/projector booth survived at least until 1970. By 1975, it was gone along with all remaining traces of the drive-in.
