Rim Theatre

The Rim Theatre was opened on July 4, 1949, in what was then known as Hayes Store. It was an African-American theatre. It became a used car lot after closing. By 2011, it was in use as the Rock Church.

The Rim Theater was one of two black theaters in Gloucester County during its day.

Found a story announcing the opening of the Rim Theater – opened July 4, 1949.
