News About This Theater

Huebner Oaks Stadium 14 & RPX

Originally opened on June 20, 1997 as the Huebner Oaks 24, the theater was closed in late-2011 by AMC when the lease expired. The property was then acquired by Regal which thoroughly renovated the theater to the plans of architectural firm TK Architects. The number of screens was reduced, and installing one of their proprietary RPX wide screens. The theater is now all-digital with an assistive system for the hearing-impaired along with other amenities typical of state of the art megaplexes. The theater officially reopened as the Huebner Oaks 14 & RPX in August, 2012 after a few days of preview and fund-raising events.

Uploaded photo of the exterior by Eric Tate. It would appear that the portion of the building not used in the downsize is now a trampoline park.
