A small four-screen multiplex was operated by Larry Moyer’s chain “Moyer Theatres” from its opening on April 14, 1978. It was taken over by Act III Theatre in 1995. It was purchased by Regal in 1998.

This property was closed in late-1999, although it functioned as a “Haunted House” until it was largely demolished in the mid-2000’s. Today, only the outer walls of the northern and eastern sides of the building still exist and have been incorporated into the office building currently on the property.

I kind of remember that theater. I visited my mom on weekends in the early to mid-80s and she was across 205 from the mall. We’d go there and I was awe-struck over how big it was. Spent a lot of time at Aladdin’s Castle.
