Located just off of Moanalua Street, this was considered the top of Kauhale Street, before you make a turn and head up mauka to Aiea Heights. Photos show that the Aiea Theatre existed in the 1930’s. It was owned by the Kaya family, who also ran Oahu Soda Works. The theater was located near where the post office is today.

Articles also show the existence of a second theater in the same area on Moanalua Road, either known as “Aiea Star” or “All Star”. The Aiea Theater was considered the “down” theater (as in down the hill/street) while the All Star/Aiea Star was considered the “up” theater, and one that may have been a Quonset hut.
