This Ideal Theatre, forgotten today but still exists as the New Precious Grove Baptist Church, was opened in 1912 by a Peter Schuchmann. The architect was Solon B. Prindle, whose office was at 143 North Wabash Avenue in Chicago. (Cicero Avenue was then 48th Avenue.)

The Ideal Theatre was closed in 1923.
