Built on the site of the Great Western 4 Theatres (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures). The Edwards Mountain Gate Plaza 7 opened on May 10, 1991.
The Orange County Register on August 24, 2000 published a report of closed Edwards Theatres. The Mountain Gate Plaza had closed on April 13, 2000.
In October of 2009 the building became the new home of the Sierra Valley Family Medical Clinic.
