Classic Cinemas took over the operation on 11/21/2019. The new name is “Classic Cinemas Beloit”
The theatre is currently being renovated with heated recliner seating and upgrades. The website timeline says it Is scheduled to be completed by December 2020.
Quick correction to the previous comment. The theatre only closed for 2 weeks in November 2019 for renovations and to switch over ownership to Classic Cinemas. After that Classic Cinemas Beloit remained open as they converted auditoriums over to recliners. Once all theatres are given the okay to reopen after COVID-19, Classic Cinemas Beloit will reopen and continue to complete renovations without closing. The expected completion date for all renovations is December 2020.
This opened on November 14th, 1997. Grand opening ad posted.
