Small town movie theatre. The Strand Theatre was opened in 1940. It was later twinned. It was closed in November 2022 for refurbishment and renovations to convert it into a triplex, with a planned reopening in May 2023.

OPENED CHRISTMAS 1940. Effective NOVEMBER 2022, new owners closing cinema for six months for renovations pending approval of Town Counsel. Plans include re-model into a three-plex, new washrooms, new Barco projectors, QSC sound, JBL Speakers and new Irwin seats. Open May 2023.
