Martha's Vineyard Film Center

I was there last week to see “Blue Jasmine”. It’s just down the road from the Ferry Slip in a nice plaza with restaurants and other stores. It’s the center anchor, being two floors. The theater is on the ground floor with great movie posters on the walls in the lobby and bathroom. The offices and meeting spaces are upstairs.

The seats were very large with cupholders and blue leather, going up at least 15-20 rows in stadium style. Great sound system. The Martha’s Vineyard Int'l Film Festival (different from the other Island festival) takes place there.

The staff is very indie and down to earth and love to talk movies. I honestly don’t remember if they had food for sale.

They told me how many seats but I forgot. I’m guessing at least 250.
