The Richmond Mall Movies 8 opened in 1989 and was initially operated by Premiere Cinemas. Cinemark took over operations around 1995. Cinemark operated the cinemas until 2009 when they were closed, about a year after Cinemark opened the Richmond Center Cinemas on August 27, 2008.
Any additional information on the Richmond Center Cinemas would be appreiated.

This was originally designed as a six screen by Premiere. During the initial design stage, Premiere went under contract to Cinemark and one of the screens to the right was divided into three. Only two employees of the theatre were ever Premiere employees (manager Mike Kivett) and myself (and only for a single day prior to the final transaction.
