The St. Vincent 6 Theatres was opened May 20, 1977. It was located at the Mall St. Vincent. AMC operated this theatre which closed in 2000.

The Saint Vincent 6 was totally remodeled out of existence—-if you had never gone to this theatre, you would never have known the mall ever had a theatre!
This opened on May 20th, 1977. I uploaded the grand opening ad in the photo section for this cinema.
Saw “Star Wars” here at midnight the day it opened in 1977. YAY!
The recently opened St. Vincent 6 was American Multi Cinema’s first operation in the state of Louisiana, according to an item in the June 27, 1977 issue of Boxoffice.
