In Warrenpoint, County Down, the Foy Cinema was a very short-lived cinema, only operating from 1947 until 1955 or 1956. It was under the control of H.B.E. Cinemas Ltd. of Belfast, run by Richard Haywood, Harry Baillie and Richard Ellis. The cinema auditorium, with no traces left of its brief life as a picture house, is now the main function suite for the adjoining Balmoral Hotel.
