Red Row Picture Hall

Located in the village of Red Row, to the north of Morpeth, Northumberland. The Red Row Electric Picture Palace was opened in March 1913. It had a 15 feet wide proscenium. In the early-1930’s it was equipped with an AWH sound system and was re-named Red Row Picture Hall. A Gyrotone sound system was fitted in the mid-1940’s.

The Red Row Picture Hall was closed around 1963.

No sign of this cinema exists now in Market Place, long since demolished.
