The 348-seat twin screen Shau Kei Wan Theatre was on the 1st floor of the shopping section of the Galaxy Plaza. The theatre later closed and renamed as the New Kam Ming Theatre which also closed to business afterward. Both theatres were in business showing adult films in the 1990’s.
It was re-opened as the L Cinema on 6th February 2016, with seating reduced to 87 in each auditorium. It was closed on 28th August 2020.

Chinese name:筲箕灣戲院[former] and 新金明戲院[latter].
The theatre re-opens on 6th February, 2016 as the L cinema[Shau Kei Wan]. The cinema has two houses with 87 seats each and is operated by the Lotte Group of South Korea.
The L Cinema closed on 28th August,2020.
