Centraal Bioscoop

Located in the centre of Amsterdam, the Centraal Bioscoop was built adjacent to the Cinema Parisien, and opened on 12th November 1912. In later years, like its Cinema Parisien neighrbor, it went over to screening adult films. “Deep Throat” opened at the Centraal Bioscoop on 1st March 1978 and played for 54 weeks.

The Centraal Bioscoop was closed on 25th March 1987 with Robert McCallam in “Doll Face”. It was demolished in 1988 and the Victoria Hotel was built on the site.
