The Templeton’s Wheel-In Theatre was opened in May 1950 and was operated by Orval Templeton until 1954. In 1955 it was operated by Pete Fortune and Indianapolis Co-Op Theatres of Indianapolis.

The June 24, 1950 issue of BoxOffice wrote that the Templeton Wheel-In was the second of three drive-ins that all opened in the Martinsville IN area during May 1950.
