Opened by Theatre Operators in the early-1980’s as the Campus Square 3. Ownership was followed by Excellance Theatres in the late-1980’s. Carmike Cinemas took over in the early-1990’s. The thatre was expanded to 8 screens in 1997. Carmike closed the theatre in 2008 due to compitition from the Gallatin Cinemas.
