Ce cinéma a ouvert le 12 Octobre, 1969 par Odeon, qui est devenu Odeon canadienne en 1978, a fermé ses portes en 1979 et rouverte après avoir été divisé en cinq salles le 26 Septembre 1980, le 12 Décembre 1997, il a commencé à montrer des films d'actualisation que le nouveau Cinéma Quartier Latin 17 a ouvert un pâté de maisons et fermé en 1998 rouvert comme une boîte de nuit en 2003 pendant une courte période et a rouvert en tant Théâtre TELUS en Avril 2008 en remplacement du Spectrum.

This cinema opened as the Odeon Berri on October 12th, 1969 by Odeon Theatres, which became Canadian Odeon in 1978. It closed down in 1979 and reopened after being split into five cinemas on September 26th, 1980. On December 12th, 1997 it started to show discount movies as the new Cinéma Quartier Latin 17 opened a block away, and and closed in 1998.
Reopened as a night club in 2003 for a short while and reopened as Théâtre TELUS in April 2008 to replace Le Spectrum.
