Palace Cinema

Located in Winsford, Cheshire. Originally built in 1901 as a Drill Hall. It was converted into the Palace Cinema in 1914. It was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system in 1930.

Always independently operated, the Palace Cinema was still open in 1969, but had closed by 1980 and was converted into a bingo club, operated in 2014 as a Top Ten Bingo Club. By 2020 the bingo club had closed and it was being gutted internally. On 7th February 2021 the building was destroyed by a fire.
