The New Mock Theatre was opened in 1937. It replaced the 480-seat Mock’s Theatre located next door, which was renamed Wellman Theatre.
The New Mock Theatre was still open in 1952, but had closed by 1957. It went into retail use and is now a church.

The function should be listed as church, though there appears to be a thrift shop (perhaps operated by the church) in one of the storefronts flanking the entrance.
