Kings Hall

Located on Whalley Road in Accrington, Lancashire. The building was opened as a Primitive Methodist Chapel around 1859. It was converted by the Weisker Brothers of Liverpool into the Picturedrome in 1912. It had a 17 feet wide proscenium, and there was a billiards hall in the basement.

In 1915 it was re-named Kings Hall. In 1931 it was equipped with a Morrison sound system. Around 1945 this was replaced by a GB sound system.

The Kings Hall had closed by 1961.
