Located in the Washington Heights district of upper Manhattan, at the corner of Wadsworth Avenue and W. 181st Street. The Wadsworth Theatre was opened in 1910. It was listed in the 1914-1915 edition of American Motion Picture Directory. In 1916 it was advertised as presenting vaudeville and photoplays. Seating was provided in orchestra, balcony and boxes. It seems the Wadsworth Theatre was not a great success, and was closed around 1916. It was later demolished and in 2015 a bank and retail units are on the site.

The Heights Theatre opposite on Wadsworth Avenue had opened in 1913, and continued to operating into the 1980’s
