Yates Center Drive-In

The Yates Center Drive-In sits on the south side of US 54 just on the west side of town. It was opened in June 1953 when it was operated by Darrel H. Davis.

Open through the 1970’s and into the 1980’s, it appears to have been closed for a while before reopening in 1996 for a short period of time.

Today, the property is now the home of Bishop Salvage Yard and the drive-in has been demolished save for the screen which is still standing.

For some reason the address wont map properly, instead of US-54 it should be changed to W Mary St.
