Located in Horwich, near Bolton, Lancashire. The Horwich Picture Palace was opened in the 1910’s. The proscenium was 18 feet wide.
By 1934 it had been re-named Palace Cinema and was equipped with an Edibell sound system. By 1937 this had been changed to a Western Electric(WE) sound system.
The Palace Cinema was still open in 1954, but had closed by 1963. It has since been demolished and a building containing Livesey Funeral Service now stands on the site.
