Located in Oakengates, near Telford, Shropshire. Originally Owen’s Field, a fairground site was located here. The Grosvenor Cinema was built on the site and opened 19th November 1923 with “Who Are My Parents”. The Grosvenor Cinema was built for fairground and cinema operator Pat Collins. It was sold to a new operator in 1926. Around 1930 it was equipped with a Western Electric(WE) sound system.

The Grosvenor Cinema was closed on 1st April 1967.
