This Railway Street site is officially in Claremont, because it is on the South side of of the Railway line, but it is right opposite the Swanbourne Railway Station. The Swanbourne Picture Theatre opened in 1927. Date of closure unknown. The Swanbourne Theatre was demolished in(1989 or 1990?). The site is now(Cottesloe Chambers?).
