Lime Ridge Mall Cinemas 4

The Lime Ridge Mall Cinemas 4 was opened August 7, 1981. Seating was provided for 364 in Cinema 1, 224 in Cinema 2, 212 in Cinema 3 and 200 in Cinema 4.

I have an advertisement from the Toronto Star for “Lethal Weapon 2” dated September 16, 1989 for this theatre. From March 9, 1998 it was briefly renamed Lime Ridge Arts Theatre. On July 10, 1998 it was advertised as Lime Ridge Reel Deal, offering discounted prices on second-run movies. It was closed April 26, 2001. Retail stores within the mall now occupy the space.

It’s sad that there’s no pictures of this movie theater. Not just ads, but actual physical photos of the theater itself
