The Clyne Theatre was opened in June 1917 with Mary Charleson in “Satan’s Private Door”. It had 1,100 seats is orchestra and balcony levels. Listed as seating 500 in the Film Daily Yearbook of 1950. The Clyne Theatre was closed in the late-1960’s.
