Located in Soham, Cambridgeshire. The Central Hall was built in 1931 and operated as a music hall, but was not a success. In 1932 it opened as the Central Cinema. It was operated by J.H. Gotch. The proscenium was 16ft wide and there was a 15ft deep stage which was used for occasional variety shows, and there was one dressing room. It was equipped with a British Thomson Houston(BTH) sound system, and had rear projection, with the projection box located at the rear of the stage.

The Central Cinema operated into the early-1940’s when it was a part-time operation. It later became a dance hall and then went into retail use. The building was destroyed by fire in 1982 and the remains were demolished in August 1983.
