The Iris Theatre was opened prior to 1926. Around 1935 it was renamed Ramona Theatre. It was still open in 1957. At some point, it obviously burned and found the Cinema West as its replacement, per this excerpt from the obituary for Samuel Nathaniel Wright (Thursday, December 25, 1924-Tuesday, July 16th, 2013) which was published by Gorman Funeral Homes:
“In order to make ends meet Sam also ran the projector at first the Ramona Theatre and after it burned downed, Cinema West for several years.”
