The Georgia Theatre Company opened the Galleria 10 Cinemas on July 24, 1998 and on February 24, 2006, it became the Galleria 15 Cinemas.
The Macon Telegraph noted on February 2, 2006, that “Currently first-run films are split between Galleria 10, located at the Galleria Mall on Watson Boulevard, and Parkway Cinemas on Russell Parkway. When the expansion is complete, all first-run films will be shown at the Galleria. Parkway will show films weeks after their premiere, but prior to release on DVD.”
