The CF &I YMCA Theatre was opened prior to 1926. Listed without seating count, (Closed) and not wired for sound in the Film Daily Yearbook of 1932. Primero was a C.F.&I. Company town and the site to several tragic mine explosions.
No residents remain and the townsite is almost impossible to reach today. C.F.&I. demolished all buildings when the mine and town were closed so anything remaining of the theatre would be merely a foundation.
