Housed in the Vancouver International Film Centre, along with a production room and offices for the Vancouver International Film Festival. It opened in September 2005, just in time for the opening of that years' film festival. The building was designed by architectural firm Hewitt and Kwasnicky, Architects.
The theatre can also accommodate seminars, live performances, film, video & multi-media presentations.
