Coliseum 1918

Located in Rochdale, Lancashire at the corner of High Level Road and Oldham Road, near to Rochdale Railway Station. The Coliseum Picture Theatre was built in 1911 next door to the Palace Skating Rink. It was designed by architects J.F. Moore and Monty Beaudyne.

It was equipped with a RCA sound system in 1930. The Coliseum Picture Theatre was closed in the early-1950’s. The building (together with the former Palace Rink) was taken over by the Ford Motor Garage and have since been demolished.
