It’s not the Eastland but the Westland Theatre launching here on October 20, 1924 with “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” for former Mayor of New Boston J. Sam Davis. He said since there was an Eastland Theatre already on the east side, there should be a Westland in the West End area of town. That’s what happened at 671 Second St.
