Malco Theatres opened the $5 million Sikeston Cinema & Grill on June 9, 2016.
Seating in the eight auditoriums is 268, 178, 146, 162 93, 93, 93 and 49. Also included is a party room, arcade, movie snacks, nachos, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, corn dogs and french fries.
Malco’s other theater, the Sikeston Trio, will remain open after the Sikeston Cinema & Grill opens.
Malco celebrated its centennial in 2015 and they now have 35 locations in six states. The Malco name is derived from the founder’s company, Morris A. Lightman Co.
