The Philips Open Air Cinema opened in 1996 as a summer only cinema. I think the films were screened on a temporary screen in Sydney Harbour as part of the Sydney Festival at the Fleet Steps(in the Royal Botonic Gardens). It now operates (Summers only) as the St. George Open Air Cinema. Unknown if there are any seats, or if people just sit on the grass?

Philips Open Air Cinema opened in 1996, it is now called St.George Open Air Cinema. Only opens in summer. It be opening again in Summer 2o16/2017. The website is www,stgeorgeopenair.com.au . There is seats on the steps i think?
