Located on Waterloo Road, South Shore. The Omega Cinema was a conversion of a Masonic Hall, and opened on 2nd February 1912. It is an attractive building which has a tiled façade with a central pediment. It was a short lived venture having closed by January 1913. Today it operates as a New Market discount store.

The only reference I can find to this cinema suggests that it was at 35 Waterloo Road, virtually opposite the Waterloo Picture House which opened in April 1912. It was not advertising films in January 1913.
