Olympia Cinema opened in(1923?), and closed in the 1970’s. Cinema building then used for indoor cricket and skating(roller?) until 1989 when the cinema building was destroyed by fire and demolished.
A bank building(Commonwealth Bank) was built on the site opening in 1991. The bank closed in 1996. The bank building is now a doctors surgery named Hughenden Valley Surgery.
